A typical inspection is a two-step process, aloft

and deck level, including a complete check of the

following:

Aloft

* Standing Rigging & Swage Fittings

* Mast Fittings

        Sheaves, Tangs, External Blocks

* Spreaders

        Roots / Brackets, Tips, Blocks

* Tunbuckles, Clevis & Cotter Pins

* Running Rigging

        Halyards, Mainsheet, Genoa & Spinnaker Sheets

        Preventer, Vang & Cunningham

* Reefing Hardware & Lines

* All Mast Lights & Wiring

* Antennas

        VHF, SSB, Radio, GPS, TV

* Electronics

Deck Level

* Mast Butt Condition

* Chain Plates & Bulkheads

* Pulpits & Stantions

* Lifelines & Hardware

* Running Lights

* Turning Blocks, Cleats & Winches
